iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max Case: This year has been full of major launches so far, and we have seen Samsung come out with its flagship S25 series smartphones, which also included the much anticipated and teased launch of the S25 Edge that took place this week itself, but the show is not over yet, and some big releases are yet to take place. Now all eyes are on Apple, as it is expected that the Cupertino-based tech giant will drop its next flagship lineup, the iPhone 17 series, in the upcoming months. Apple recently introduced the iPhone 16e for its budget audience, and now people are excited to see what Apple has in store for them this time with the new generation of iPhones.

While Apple is keeping its mouth shut about any official details about the device, the internet doesn't keep quiet, and there have been many leaks and rumours that tell us what to expect from these latest flagship devices. A few days back we saw a video by Unbox Therapy that showcased the supposed design architecture of the upcoming iPhones through dummies that they might have received from a case maker in China, and now some case leaks have also surfaced and are being claimed as the real deal for the upcoming iPhone 17 series devices.

Tipster Majin Bu has stirred up excitement on X (formerly Twitter) by sharing what he claims are the leaked cases for the entire iPhone 17 lineup — including the 17 Pro Max, 17 Air, 17 Pro, and the base model. Interestingly, he’s also offering to take pre-orders directly through messages, which feels like a bold move given that the official launch is still about four months away and a lot can shift between now and then. Still, Majin Bu has built a solid reputation for reliable Apple leaks, so there’s a decent chance these cases are the real deal.

 

What Do The Cases Reveal?

The leaked cases reveal a design style that Apple might be going for this time with the iPhone 17 series smartphones. One thing is quite evident, and it's the massive camera bump for the Pro and Pro Max versions. Even the camera bump on the iPhone Air case can be seen quite evidently, sporting a pill-shaped camera bar, something that Google Pixel phones have. The base iPhone 17 case looks similar to the current 16 series iPhones, but with a vertical dual-camera setup. You can also spot the size difference between the models, with the iPhone Air seeming bigger than the base variant.

It is anticipated that this year's iPhone launches will bring something next level and will probably have the biggest updates iPhones have received up till now. The square-style camera might be replaced by a rectangular one. I guess Apple is bidding farewell to its older design style, as far as Pro and Pro Max versions are concerned. Air is expected to take the place of the Plus model.

What Are The Biggest Anticipated Changes?

One of the biggest rumours making the rounds is that Apple might finally bring a 120Hz ProMotion display to all iPhone 17 models — not just the Pro variants, but also the standard iPhone 17 and the new 17 Air. It’s a feature fans have been waiting on for years. And if that does happen, could it also mean the standard models get the Always-On Display? That part remains unclear — we’ll have to wait and see.

Expected Pricing in India

The iPhone 17 lineup is expected to arrive this September. As for pricing, if the ongoing US-China tariff tensions cool down by then, Apple is likely to stick to familiar territory. That would mean $799 for the iPhone 17, $899 for the 17 Air, $999 for the 17 Pro, and $1,199 for the 17 Pro Max. In India, expect prices to mirror last year’s too — Rs 79,900, Rs 89,900, Rs 1,19,900, and Rs 1,34,900, respectively.

Now nothing is officially confirmed, and as much as these leaks excite us, we must tread carefully with these leaks and rumours and wait untill the official launch takes place.
