iPhone 17 Pro Max: Apple is expected to pull the wraps off the iPhone 17 series next month, with the launch event likely set for September 9, 2025. We’re still a few weeks out, but leaks are already giving us a pretty good idea of what might show up — and one of the biggest changes could be the price.
Word from Chinese tipster Instant Digital is that Apple might raise prices across all iPhone 17 models by around $50. The reason? Reportedly higher component costs and China tariffs. If that pans out, the iPhone 17 could start at about $849 (roughly ₹74,000), the iPhone 17 Air at $949 (₹83,000), and the Pro and Pro Max at $1,049 (₹92,000) and $1,249 (₹1,09,500) respectively. Another titbit — the Pro models are expected to ditch the 128GB base storage and start at 256GB instead.

The Wall Street Journal has also mentioned Apple is considering a price bump, pointing to expected design tweaks and hardware upgrades — especially for the Pro models. The base versions might see more subtle changes this time around.

As for the lineup, we’re expecting four phones: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The standard model might stick close to last year’s look, but the Air could grab attention as Apple’s slimmest iPhone yet at just 5.5mm thick. The Pro models, meanwhile, are tipped for bigger changes in design, performance, camera, and AI features — making them the ones to watch when the event rolls around.
