Chinese smartphone maker -iQOO is all ready to launch its next big flagship device — the iQOO 15 – in China next week. The device is looking like a performance powerhouse with some serious improvements in raw speed, gaming and heat management. With the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset being officially confirmed, alongside news that the iQOO Q3 co-processing chip has been given its marching orders, users can look forward to seamless multitasking, reduced gaming return intervals and improved system stability across the board.

Let’s take a look at everything we currently know about the iQOO 15’s India debut timeline, rumoured specifications, and price.

iQOO 15 Launch Date in India (Expected)

The iQOO 15 will be announced in China on October 20, with a few more devices from the brand and these are iQOO Pad 5e, iQOO Watch GT 2, and the iQOO TWS 5 earbuds.

Although iQOO has locked the date for its India launch, several reports have indicated that the launch could take place in between November 15 and November 25 - at least just before or during Diwali. The company will expected to announced soon the exact date.

iQOO 15 Specifications (Expected)

On the front, the iQOO 15 is confirmed to sport a large 6.85-inch 2K LTPO display from Samsung called “Everest” according to leaks and teasers thus far, featuring an impressive refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Furthermore, with a peak brightness as high as 6000 nits on the higher end variant(s)/model(s), it will be one of the brightest panels in its segment.

However, under the hood, it will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC clubbed with iQOO Q3 gaming processor which might offer better graphics rendering and frame rate consistency. The phone is believed to house a 7,000mAh+ battery with wireless charging feature, which would be a major leap from its predecessor.

When it comes to thermals, iQOO is bringing an all-new 8K VC Dome cooling system, which the company says results in a 47% improved heat dissipation efficiency over its predecessor.

On the camera front, it is expected that the smartphone will feature a dual camera setup featuring 50MP main lens and 50MP periscope telephoto lens.

iQOO 15 Price in India (Expected)

The iQOO 15 could retail in India for roughly Rs 59,999 - approximately Rs 5,000 higher than its predecessor. It may come with multiple colors - possibly including Lingyun-themed finishes - though more information may be released closer to launch date.
