iQOO has officially entered the 2025 flagship arena with the launch of the iQOO 15 in India, putting it directly against the OnePlus 15 and the Realme GT 8 Pro. All three arrive with premium hardware, similar configurations and nearly identical pricing — the kind of scenario that makes buyers second-guess their purchase.
Earlier, OnePlus enjoyed a clear camera advantage thanks to its Hasselblad tie-up. This year, however, Realme steps up with Ricoh. iQOO continues to lean on its gaming DNA, while the OnePlus 15 pushes hard into gaming-first hardware with its 165 Hz panel.
To make the decision simpler, here’s a breakdown across design, performance, display, cameras, battery and individual pricing.
Design
The iQOO 15 keeps a familiar look with a cleaner, more refined camera module and the signature RGB accents intact. The flat frame gives it a boxy, modern feel.
The OnePlus 15, meanwhile, undergoes a noticeable shift, replacing its long-standing circular module with a sharper square island.
Realme’s GT 8 Pro takes the most experimental approach. Its swappable camera module lets users alter the look — and even the shape — of the camera bump. Creative, but polarising.
Performance
All three phones run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
iQOO adds a Q3 gaming chip for enhanced thermal and stability performance.
Realme includes the R1 gaming chip and a dedicated Hyper Vision AI chip.
OnePlus relies on its new OnePlus Performance Tri-Chip, designed for stronger sustained gameplay and connectivity.
Display
The Realme GT 8 Pro features a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 6,000 nits brightness.
OnePlus 15 counters with a 1.5K AMOLED panel but boosts the refresh rate to 165 Hz.
iQOO 15 introduces a large 6.85-inch 2K Samsung M14 AMOLED, also peaking at 6,000 nits.
Cameras
The iQOO 15 and OnePlus 15 both use triple 50-megapixel sensors, with OnePlus leveraging its DetailMax imaging engine.
Realme brings Ricoh into the frame and equips the GT 8 Pro with a standout 200-megapixel telephoto lens, giving it the strongest zoom hardware here.
Battery
Battery sizes jump this year. The iQOO 15 and Realme GT 8 Pro each pack 7,000 mAh units. iQOO supports 100W wired + 50W wireless charging, while Realme offers 120W wired + 50W wireless.
OnePlus 15 leads with a 7,300mAh battery and supports 120W wired + 50W wireless charging.
