JE Technology Desk: iQOO India announced its partnership with Mithilesh Pattanker, widely popular as Mythpat, a popular gaming content creator on YouTube, in its hunt for the first Chief Gaming Officer. Pattanker will serve as a jury member to zero down on a CGO for the brand. iQOO staff and Mythpat will evaluate and select 'GenZ gamers' and offer them the chance to work as the first Chief Gaming Officer and earn Rs 10 lakh, the company said in a press release.
For the unversed, iQOO recently announced the opening for Chief Gaming Officer in India, which grabbed over 30,000 applications. The candidate shortlisting process will have three rounds comprising various evaluation criteria. The last date to apply for this position is June 11.
As for background on Mythpat, he is a content creator cum gamer with a 13 million strong subscriber base on YouTube. In the initial days, he shared entertaining videos showcasing gameplay of titles like GTA 5 and PUBG. He is also the only Indian to get nominated and win the Streamy Awards 2021.
