Vi, Jio, Airtel Tariff Hike: Airtel, Jio and Vodafone Idea (Vi) announced their revised prepaid and postpaid recharges for subscribers in India a few days back. With the move, popular plans from these telecom service providers are set to witness a significant price hike compared to their current prices. Recharging with a long-term validity pack can be the right decision to save some extra bucks before the new prices go into effect.

To help you decide, here are the prepaid recharge plans with 365 days of validity from Airtel, Jio and Vi highlighted in their press releases. Do note that you can recharge before July 3 if you have an Airtel or Jio connection and before July 4 if you are a Vi customer at the older rates.

Jio Annual Recharge Plans

Rs 2,999: All set to peak to Rs 3,599, the plan offers 2.5 GB/day data, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day benefits.

Meanwhile, you can also consider the Rs 1,559 plan, which will be revised to Rs 1,899. It offers 336 days of validity, 24GB of data and unlimited calling.

Airtel Recharge Plans: 365 Days

Rs 1,799: All set to move to Rs 1,999, the recharge comes with 365 days validity, 24GB data, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day.

Rs 2,999: This plan from Airtel will cost Rs 3,599 from July 3. It comes with 2GB/day data, unlimited calling, 100 SMS/day and 365 days validity.

Vi Recharge Plans: 365 Days

Rs 1,799: The plan from Vi offers 24GB data, unlimited calling and 300 SMS with 365 days validity. It will be revised to Rs 1,999 from July 4.

Rs 2,899: The prepaid plan offers 1.5GB/day data, unlimited calling and 100 SMS/day benefits. It will steep to Rs 3,499 after the tariff hike.

Do note that users recharging with a plan of 2GB/day and above data benefits can enjoy unlimited 5G data if they are an Airtel and Jio customer after the tariff hike. Moreover, you can also consider other annual plans with bundled OTT benefits or lower data limits on Jio, Airtel and Vi websites. The telcos have not stated how much the prices of these plans will be affected.
