Reliance Jio, a popular telecom service provider in India, has added a new plan to its 'True 5G Unlimited Plans' catalogue in India. The plan is the cheapest unlimited data offering from Jio and ships with a range of benefits, subject to the recharge's validity. First spotted by The Indian Express, the most affordable unlimited 5G data plan ships with a validity of 14 days.
If you are a Jio prepaid subscriber or plan to port your connection or buy a new Jio SIM, here are all the details you need to know about Jio's new Rs 198 plan.
Rs 198: Jio's Unlimited 5G Plan
The prepaid recharge plan comes with unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day and 2GB of data per day for 14 days. Jio highlights that after the daily data quota is over, the speed will be restricted to 64kbps. 5G users can enjoy Unlimited True 5G data with the plan. As for the other benefits, it comes with JioTV, JioCinema and JioCloud subscriptions.

Users can recharge via MyJio or any other eligible platform to activate this plan on their Jio prepaid number. However, note that if you are looking for a plan with more validity and savings, you can check out the Rs 349 plan which offers unlimited calling, 2GB data per day and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.
