Jio Tariff Hike 2024: Reliance Jio announced revised rates for its existing plans a few days back. These new rates will go into effect on July 3, 2024. Among the affected plans are the popular 1.5GB/day data recharges, which are currently a ticket to unlimited 5G data and calling benefits for Jio subscribers. After the tariff hike, only recharge plans with 2GB/day and above data will get unlimited 5G benefits.
Recharging and stacking up prepaid plans can be the right time to continue availing unlimited 5G data with a minimum of 1.5GB per day data plan at reasonable rates. To help you in this process, here are the most affordable plans (validity-wise) you can check out to continue enjoying unlimited 5G even after the price hike on July 3. These plans ship with "Unlimited True 5G Data".
Rs 239: All set to move to Rs 299, the 28-day plan currently offers 1.5GB/day data, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. As for subscriptions, it ships with JioTV, JioCinema and JioCloud access.
Rs 479: The price of this plan will increase to Rs 579 after the tariff hike. The recharge pack ships with 1.5GB data per day, unlimited calling and 100 SMS/day for 56 days. Buyers can enjoy access to regular Jio apps (JioTV, JioCinema and JioCloud).
Rs 666: The three-month plan will cost Rs 799 after the price hike. It comes with 1.5GB per day data, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day for 84 days. Access to regular Jio apps is bundled with the plan.
Rs 2,545: While Jio has not stated anything about this plan's price hike in its press release, the plan may be discontinued or get updated with a new price on July 3. It comes with 1.5GB per day of data, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day for 336 days. JioTV, JioCinema and JioCloud are bundled with the pack.
