Jio Mobile Recharge Plan: Jio is back with its most pocket-friendly monthly recharge plan. This plan can be purchased exclusively via the MyJio app and is currently priced at Rs 189 and comes with a validity of 28 days and offers 2GB of data, unlimited voice calls, 300 SMS, and a subscription to JioTV, JioCinema and JioCloud.

While this plan is not entirely a new addition, it was suspended against the backdrop of the introduction of call-only plans as per the directions from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), and now the plan has been made active again.

Unlike Jio’s Rs 1,748 and Rs 448 voice-only plans, which don’t include any data benefits, the Rs 189 plan provides essential data benefits, making it a great option for those who need a bit of data along with their calling and texting needs. The plan can be accessed from the section called "Affordable Packs" in the MyJio app.

If we look at the monthly effective price of the Rs 189 affordable plan it is more than the Rs 1,748 plan but the thing to take note of here is that the plan also provides data benefits, which will definitely attract customers looking for a cheaper plan with data benefits.

On top of that, if a user has utilized the 2GBs, the plan offers the customers a choice of adding more data as per their needs, something that is useful for those who require additional data benefits.
