Lava dropped its Bold 2 5G in India on Friday, and this new device is the successor to last year's Bold 5G, which was revealed by Lava in April of 2025. The device will go on sale in the country via an e-commerce platform and comes in two colour options and a single RAM and storage variant. The new smartphone has a dual-camera setup inside a rectangular camera module. Inside the device is Dimensity silicon, so let's take a deeper look at the new device.

Specs and Features: Lava Bold 2 5G
This new device by Lava is a 5G device and supports dual SIM, which comes with Android 15. The company has claimed that this new device will be free of bloatware and will give its users an ad-free experience. The handset also comes with a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED and is capable of going up to a 120 Hz refresh rate. For dust and splash resistance, the device ships with an IP64 rating.
The silicon under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset and can deliver a max clock boost of 2.6 GHz. Lava says the Bold 2 5G has managed to cross the 0.5 million mark on the AnTuTu benchmark, which gives a rough idea of the performance users can expect from the device. The phone comes with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a combination that should help with faster app loading and smoother multitasking.
On the camera side, the Lava Bold 2 5G features a dual rear camera setup along with an LED flash. The main highlight is a 50-megapixel primary camera that uses a Sony sensor, while the second camera remains unspecified for now. For selfies and video calls, the phone includes an 8-megapixel front camera placed inside a hole-punch cutout on the display.
Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W wired fast charging. Lava has also added an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. In terms of design, the Bold 2 5G keeps things slim with a thickness of just 7.55mm.

Lava Bold 2: Price And Availability In India
The Lava Bold 2 5G will cost you Rs 12,999 for the only single 6+128GB variant, but this is a special price only during the launch period, which is inclusive of bank offers. The company is also willing to offer doorstep service to all the customers buying the Lava Bold 2 5G smartphone. The phone is slated to go on sale in the country on March 1 at 12PM IST through Amazon. Customers will have the option to choose from two colourways, Father White and Midnight Black.
