JE Technology Desk: Apple Vision Price Vs Meta Quest 3: Meta which has recently unveiled its third generation AR VR headset Meta Quest 3 is now reportedly testing the popular Reels format on the headset. Taking to Meta’s broadcasting channel, CEO Mark Zuckerberg has showcased how the reel would look in the virtual world (VR). "We're testing Reels on Quest," he said.

Quest 3, the next-generation virtual and mixed-reality headgear, was unveiled by Zuckerberg last week and will be available later this year. The 128GB headgear starts at $499.99, and customers will also have the option of adding more storage. It has a next-generation Snapdragon chipset that offers graphics performance that is more than twice as fast as Quest 2's Snapdragon GPU.

“On Quest 3, our best-in-class Meta Reality technology allows you to effortlessly blend your physical and virtual worlds. These new experiences go beyond today's mixed reality by intelligently comprehending and responding to objects in your actual area, allowing you to navigate it in natural, intuitive ways that were previously practically impossible," the company said in its blog post.

Meanwhile, the company has also announced that the price of Meta Quest 2 would be brought down to $299 for the users and the Meta Quest 3 is priced at $499.99. However, the company has announced that it would be introducing the latest AR/VR headset this fall and more details will be unveiled at the Meta Connect event on September 27.

The company promises that the Quest 3 would offer a more immersive experience including gaming, fitness, and other categories. Additionally, it would also be offering constant updates in order to provide a more enhanced experience for the users. The company has hinted that the Quest has something for everyone, be it gaming, or professional, the software will have something for everyone.
