Instagram-backed social media platform Threads, which made its debut recently, is now getting some new features. In a new Thread, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has now announced that the company has started rolling out the 'Following' feed and 'Translations' features for the users.
What Is For You Feature:
'For you' is a version of the Threads feed that contains postings from profiles that users have chosen to follow as well as accounts that have been recommended to them. 'Following', on the other hand, will only show posts from person users follow in chronological order.
What Is Translation Feature:
The Translations function translates Threads entries in the feed automatically based on the language they were posted in and the viewer's language preferences. Users can view a translation for their language in a thread that is written in a different language by tapping the translation button in the bottom right corner of a post or reply.
