Microsoft Surface Event 2024: Redmond-headquartered tech giant Microsoft announced its new range of Copilot+ PCs at its Hardware and AI-packed event. The company claims these PCs are the "fastest and most intelligent Windows PCs". These are capable of 40+ TOPS (trillion operations per second), sport a high-performance Neural Processing Unit (NPU), access to advanced AI technology and all-day battery life.
Besides Microsoft Surface devices, Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Samsung will introduce PCs built on this experience. You can pre-book some of the Copilot+ PCs range today, and the shipping will begin on June 18. The Windows maker introduced the new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop with Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors and a starting price of $999. Apart from Microsoft, here are the other Copilot+ PCs from partner OEMs.
Acer Swift 14 AI: Sporting a 2.5K touchscreen, it gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon X series chip, up to 32GB memory and 1TB M.2 SSD. The Swift 14 AI will be up for grabs at a starting price of $1,099.
ASUS Vivobook S 15: Powered by the Snapdragon X Elite Platform and Qualcomm AI, it sports 40+ NPU TOPS, up to 32GB RAM and 1TB storage, a metallic body, RGB backlit keyboard, dual fan cooling system. The all-new Vivobook will carry a starting price of $1,299.
Dell XPS, Inspiron, Latitude Laptops: The PC maker announced five Copilot+ PCs: XPS 13, Inspiron 14 Plus, Inspiron 14, Latitude 7455, and Latitude 5455. The XPS 13 will run on a Snapdragon X Elite chip and offer up to 64GB RAM and 2TB storage and offer three display choices (IPS, touch and OLED), and will start from $1,299.
The Latitude 7455 will get a QHD+ screen and offer Snapdragon X Elite and Plus choices, up to 32GB RAM and 1TB storage. The Inspiron lineup will have a Snapdragon X Plus 1 chipset, up to 32GB RAM, 1TB storage and an IPS screen. The Inspiron 14 Plus will start from $1,099. Pricing and availability of other models will be announced later.
HP OmniBook and EliteBook AI PCs: The OmniBook X AI and HP EliteBook Ultra G1q AI will offer a Snapdragon X Elite and up to 32GB RAM (16GB for Elitebook). The new OmniBook and Elitebook will start from $1,199 and $1,699.
Lenovo Yoga Slim and ThinkPad Laptops: The consumer-facing Yoga Slim 7x and the business-oriented ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 will offer Snapdragon X Elite chips. Both models will sport OLED screens and up to 64GB storage (32GB for Yoga Slim 7x). While the new Yoga Slim will start from $1,199, the Thinkpad will be available at a starting price of $1,699.
Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge: Sporting a 3K AMOLED 2x touchscreen, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge Snapdragon X Elite processors, and 16GB RAM. It will start from $1,349.
