Here’s the thing—Motorola didn’t simply refresh the G-series; they bypassed all that and went for what most budget buyers actually worry about: stamina, a clean interface, and no skimping on hardware. Motorola has announced the launch of its latest Moto G57 Power in India—which features a gigantic 7000mAh battery, new PANTONE-backed colours and is powered by Android™ 16 out of the box, all wrapped in a design that’s priced more premium than its price tag.

Let’s break it down.

A cleaner, more premium design

Motorola replaced the standard plastic textures with a vegan leather finish, which is somehow both easier to hold and looks smarter. The colours—one of the highlights of which is co-developed with PANTONE. Add IP64 water resistance and MIL-STD-810H durability, and the G57 Power feels solid enough for daily mishaps.

Display and performance

At the front, the phone sports a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with peak brightness rated at 1050 nits in HBM and refresh rate of 120 Hz. It’s topped with Gorilla Glass 7i that ought to help when it comes to scratches and drops.

Powering the magic is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 (4nm) processor coupled with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM (expandable up to 24GB thanks to RAM Boost) and up to a whopping, grand total of 128Gb of storage. For daily use and social media, as well as light to medium gaming, this configuration is a good choice.

Battery and charging

It is at this point that Motorola plays its trump. The 7000mAh battery is good for up to 60 hours of use, depending on your usage. It gets 33W TurboPower charging, which isn’t fire-hot but it’s okay given the battery size.

Cameras

The rear module includes:

- 50MP main sensor

- 8MP ultra-wide lens

You can still shoot 2K at 30 fps and 1080p at 60 fps. Turbo favourite Moto camera modes are all here – Night, Portrait, Pro, Slow Motion, and Timelapse – with some AI tweaking.

There is an 8MP selfie cam on the front, which can record videos in 2K at 30 fps too and comes with Gesture Selfie and HDR.
