It seems Netflix, a popular video streaming service across the world is planning to tweak its platform through artificial intelligence. We say this because the company recently opened an AI/ML Product Manager role with a salary of up to $900,000, which translates to roughly Rs 7,40,40,000.
According to the job posting, the "Product Manager - Machine Learning Platform" role is based in the Los Gatos office of Netflix in California or can be remotely based "on the West Coast". Further, according to NDTV, the open role aims to "leverage" Netflix's ML platform and use AI across customer acquisition and personalised recommendations. The salary range described by the company is between $300,000 to $900,000.
''With more than 230 million members in over 190 countries, Netflix continues to shape the future of entertainment around the world. Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence is powering innovation, from personalization for members to optimizing our payment processing and other revenue-focused initiatives," according to the job posting.
Netflix AI Product Manager: Eligibility
The candidate must have intensive experience with an ML platform and the capacity to partner with fellow engineers at work. A thing to note is that the role does not have a strict degree requirement stated in the posting. However, considering it demands "a technical background" and "product sense", a strong education background will likely act as a plus.
