Nothing Phone 2a: London-based smartphone maker Nothing is reportedly gearing up to introduce its upcoming smartphone next month. CEO Carl Pei and Co-founder Akis Evangelidis have been hinting at a release of the device soon. Media reports claim that the device is none other than the rumoured Nothing Phone (2a) that could see the light of the day at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. In the latest update around the smartphone, reports have tipped the charging details.
According to a 91Mobiles report, the smartphone appeared in a TUV certification listing that hinted at the charging speeds of the device. The handset could offer a charging speed of 45W. This may be similar to the current Phone (2) of the brand which sits in the sub-Rs 40,000 price category. Plus, the smartphone may support USB Power Delivery charging standard but miss out on wireless charging.
Apart from this, the listing did not reveal any other details. Meanwhile, several leaks have hinted at the possible specifications, price, and launch date of the Nothing Phone (2a).

According to leaks, the smartphone could boast a 6.7-inch OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device may have a Dimensity 7200 chipset. It may run on Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14. As for the optics, the Phone (2a) will likely have a 50MP primary lens and 50MP ultrawide lens on the back and a 32MP selfie lens. It may have a 4,920mAh battery with 45W wired charging.

For the unaware, the Nothing Phone 2a could be the third smartphone in the brand's lineup, as the Nothing Phone (1) and Nothing Phone (2) have already launched in parts of the world. The Phone (2a) may debut at MWC 2024 on February 27 in Barcelona.

According to reports, the smartphone may sit in the sub-Rs 30,000 price bracket in India. The pricing may vary depending on the regions of availability.
