Nothing Phone 2a Leaks: Soon after Android developer Dylan Roussel released a clip referencing the rumoured Nothing Phone (2a) on X (formerly Twitter), a fresh leak pointed coordinates at the possible specifications and price of the upcoming handset. For starters, the handset is expected to debut with a MediaTek CPU and offer a triple Glyph LED setup around a horizontal camera placement.
Codenamed 'A142', the device may offer a dual camera setup and a centre punch-hole camera on the front. Tipster Yogesh Brar shared the quick specifications of the handset of the device.
Nothing Phone 2a Specifications (Expected)
According to leaks in the past, the phone may have a 6.7-inch AMOLED 120Hz screen with a punch-hole display. The rear will likely have a horizontally placed camera array with an LED flash at the top right of the lens module. It will likely have rounded corners like the Phone (2) and Phone (1).

Under the hood, the smartphone may offer a Dimensity 7200 chipset and an 8GB + 128GB storage trim. More storage versions of the smartphone may debut next to the 8GB RAM model. It could run on Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14. The Glyph Interface of the device may support app integration and a progress meter similar to the Phone (2).
Moving to the optics, the handset may offer a dual 50MP camera setup. It could be a similar main and ultrawide combination like the earlier models from the London-based smartphone maker. Other than this, details about the handset remain under wraps at the time of filing.
Nothing Phone 2a Expected Price, Launch Date
According to Brar, the price of the handset could rest in the sub-Rs 25,000-30,000 price bracket. The global pricing could be around $400. The handset could see the light of the day at the Mobile World Congress (2024) on February 27. The date coincides with the scheduled timeline of a Nothing event.
