OnePlus 12R Amazon India Launch Confirmed: OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 12 series in India On January 23, 2024. Ahead of the launch, the availability of the OnePlus 12R 5G has been confirmed on Amazon. OnePlus has teased two colours of the smartphone: Blue and Black. It will likely have a similar design to the OnePlus 12 5G which has already launched in China.

Readers must note that the handset will likely be the rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3, which debuted in China on January 4. According to the poster, the phone will have a metal frame and a triple camera setup on the back. It will likely offer a glass back. While the rebranded cousin of the smartphone has launched in the homeland, reports have speculated a range of details about the Indian model. Here are all the rumoured details about the upcoming phone.

OnePlus 12R Specifications

The smartphone may have a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED 120Hz screen with 1,600nits typical peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Under the hood, the phone could sport a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU and Adreno 740 GPU. OnePlus may offer up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 3.1 storage on the phone.

OnePlus 12R may run on Android 14-based custom OnePlus skin in India. The device will likely have a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging. As for the optics, the phone may sport a 50MP OIS+ 8MP UW + 2MP macro rear and 16MP selfie lens. As for connectivity, it could offer Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, IR controls and a USB-C port. For security, the 12R would likely sport an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

OnePlus 12R Price In India Expectations

In China, the smartphone was announced at a starting price of 2,599 Yuan (roughly Rs 30,800). According to reports and OnePlus' track record, the smartphone will likely sit in the sub-Rs 40,000-42,000 bracket in India. Apart from the Blue and Gray colours teased on Amazon, it could arrive in a Gold shade.
