OnePlus 15 New Update: OnePlus has started the rollout of a new software update for the global variant of the OnePlus 15. The newest arrival carries the February 2026 Android security patch as well as some minor system improvements. Though there aren't many changes over the last one, it brings some tweaks of UI/UX as well as better system stability. The update is currently live in global markets and is rolling out in batches, so it may not be available on all devices immediately.
OnePlus 15 Update Details
The build number for the new update is CPH2745_16.0.3.503, which has a download size of 259.72MB, it could be slightly different depending on your region, though.
According to the official changelog, the update includes:
- February 2026 Android security patch
- Optimised touch control experience
- Improved overall system stability
That makes the update less about lots of shiny new things and more about security and performance tweaks.
Based on Android 16 and OxygenOS 16
The update is based on Android 16 and it runs on OxygenOS 16, OnePlus’s own custom version of Android for global devices. The OnePlus 15 debuted with this flavour of Android and OxygenOS on board.
The OnePlus 15 has received quite a few updates since it was released a couple of months ago. This Home screen speed optimisation is something OnePlus typically dials in post-launch, addressing bits that it didn’t have time to refine before release and making things run silky smooth as weeks go on.
Staged Rollout in Progress
OnePlus is rolling out the update in stages. This means:
- Not all users will receive it immediately
- The update should arrive automatically via OTA over the coming days
Users can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update.
OnePlus 15 gets a new software update: What’s fixed, what is that updating and more! The latest OnePlus 15 update isn’t great news for those who want it to bring new features. And along with the enhanced touch sensitivity and system optimisation, via the February 2026 security patch, it will provide a more stable user experience day in and day out.
