The iQOO 15 Ultra has finally marked its debut in China, which took place on Wednesday; this one joins the smartphone maker's flagship lineup. The device will be available for sale in the country via Vivo China's official website and will come sporting two color options. Powering the device is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which is a flagship processor built on 3nm architecture. Battery is another strong suit of this smartphone, and it comes with a 7,400 mAh battery, with 100 W wired charging, and additionally also supports 40 W wireless charging.
Specs and Features
This new iQOO 15 Ultra is a dual-SIM device that will run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The phone also comes with a 2K Samsung M148T LTPO AMOLED (1,440x3168 pixels) display, which supports up to a 144 Hz refresh rate, HDR, and has a peak brightness of 8000 nits. Its display is color calibrated with 1.07 billion colors, and the device also sports a 94.39 screen-to-body ratio.
The powerhouse running inside is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which comes with two efficiency and four performance cores, clocking at 4.6 GHz. As far as GPU goes, the device employs an Adreno 840 GPU, with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM, paired with 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
On the camera front, the iQOO 15 Ultra packs a triple rear setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilization. It’s joined by a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with an f/2.65 aperture and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens with an f/2.05 aperture. Up front, there’s a 32-megapixel selfie camera for photos and video calls, and the phone is capable of recording video at up to 8K resolution.
For the battery, it sports a huge 7,400 mAh battery, with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging support. In the connectivity department, the device sports 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, a USB Type-C port, BeiDou, GPS, QZSS, GLONASS, and Galileo.
Pricing, Availability, and Colourways
The iQOO 15 Ultra sits firmly in flagship territory when it comes to pricing. The base model, which packs 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, starts at CNY 5,699, roughly Rs. 74,000. If you want more storage, the 16GB + 512GB version is priced at CNY 5,999 (around Rs. 78,000), while the 16GB + 1TB variant jumps to CNY 6,999, or about Rs. 91,000.
At the top end, iQOO is also offering a fully loaded version with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, priced at CNY 7,699, which converts to roughly Rs. 1,00,000.
As for availability, the iQOO 15 Ultra will go on sale in China starting February 6, and it will be available through the Vivo China online store. Buyers can choose between two color options: 2077 Black and 2049 Silver.
