OpenPlus Open Release Date In India: OnePlus will launch the OnePlus Open foldable phone in India on October 19. And the latest update around the smartphone might disappoint some of the users. In a statement, the tech maker has confirmed that the device will ship with third-party apps. According to the company, the aim is to collaborate with developers to enhance the compatibility of apps.
According to the official statement, the results from the collaboration of OnePlus and developers will be "extremely meaningful" for the device and prioritise a "swift, smooth and trouble-free" experience. One such app named in the statement is Meta's Facebook.
"The work required significant effort from both parties, and we believe the results are not only significant but also extremely meaningful for our foldable device users...To provide the best user experience, a small number of the mentioned applications will come pre-installed on the OnePlus Open," media reports cited the official statement of OnePlus.

"We believe this approach strikes the right balance between delivering a novel and seamless user experience while preserving the stability and security of our products," the statement added. It remains a question whether these apps can be uninstalled by users.
OnePlus Open Expected Price
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the first foldable from OnePlus could have a starting price of Rs 1,39,999. The first sale of the handset could begin on October 27. As for the specifications, the tipster added that the phone may have a 7.8-inch 2K AMOLED 120Hz main and a 6.31-inch AMOLED 120Hz cover screen.
Under the hood, the device could get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for performance. It will likely have a 4,800mAh battery with 80W charging. As for the optics, the smartphone could have a 48MP + 48MP + 64MP rear camera. On the front, you might get two 32MP and 20MP sensors. An Alert Slider will likely sit on the side frame of the phone.
