OnePlus, a Chinese smartphone maker, has launched its latest OnePlus Watch 2 in India. The announcement comes on the expected lines as the manufacturer had earlier teased the arrival of the smartwatch at the Mobile World Congress 2024. According to OnePlus, the wearable comes with military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810H) for added toughness.
It is all set to compete with the one-generation-old offerings of Samsung and the Apple Watch SE in terms of price war with smartphone makers in India. If you plan to buy the new premium smartwatch, here are the features and the price you should know.
OnePlus Watch 2 Specifications
OnePlus Watch 2 has a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with up to 600nits peak brightness and 466x466 resolution. Under the hood, it gets a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor and BES2700BP MCU. The device runs on Google Wear OS 4 and RTOS software (a 'maintenance' operating system for managing basic functions), thanks to the "dual engine architecture".
As for durability, the chassis has been constructed from Stainless Steel, and the 2.5D curved face is made out of Sapphire Crystal. Coming to memory, the watch offers 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM. OnePlus Watch 2 advertises up to 100 hours of battery life (Smart Mode) and 12 days in Power Saver mode with the 500mAh battery.

The company claims the smartwatch can charge in one hour via its fast charging mechanism. Plus, it supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and dual frequency GPS (L1 + L5). The Watch 2 offers 100+ sports modes and 100+ watch faces. It gets 5 ATM water and an IP68 dust and splash resistance.
It also gets a range of wellness tracking features such as heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, stress detection, sleep monitoring and more. As for sensors, it gets accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, light sensor, optical heart rate, optical pulse oximeter and geomagnetic sensor. You can pair the watch with the OHealth app to harness its capabilities.
OnePlus Watch 2 Price In India
The smartwatch (46mm + Bluetooth/Wi-Fi) will start from Rs 24,999 in India. It comes in two colour options: Black Steel and Radiant Steel. Buyers can avail of up to Rs 2,000 instant discount via select ICICI Bank and OneCard credit card offers. The first sale of the device will go live on March 4 across OnePlus' official channels.
The first three orders of the watch on the OnePlus site will get a Keyboard 81 Pro, and buyers can also claim a OnePlus Pioneer Shoulder Bag for free for a limited time. You can also check out no-cost EMI offers during the purchase.
