Oppo is gearing up to launch its K series smartphone the K13 5G next week, the Chinese smartphone maker confirmed on Monday. This new K series model will make its debut in India first before it is showcased globally. The device will be available on Flipkart for purchase. With its launch just around the corner let's take a look at what the device has in store for us.
Specs and Features
Flipkart currently has a microsite that gives us some details about the specs of Oppo K13 5G. It will sport a 6.66-inch full-HD+ (1,080X2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support, it also has a peak brightness of 1200 nits and 100 per cent coverage of DCI-P3 colour gamut. The processor under the hood is Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset built on 4nm architecture coupled with Adreno A810 GPU, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The AnTuTu score on this device is claimed to be 7,90,000.

Software
The Oppo K13 5G will come with an AI-backed 50-megapixel rear camera shooter. The device will run on AndroidOS-based ColorOS 15. The most striking feature about the phone is its massive 7000 mAh battery which will come with 80W fast charging support. It is claimed that the device can deliver 32.7 hours of music playback, 10.3 hours of gaming and 49.4 hours of calling time on just a single charge. It is also claimed that the charger that comes with the device can charge the phone from 0 to 62% in 30 minutes.
Additional Features
For cooling the phone will come with a 6,000mm sq graphite sheet and a 5,700mm sq large vapour cooling chamber. The device supports an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance and also comes with a five-year fluency certification from the TL Certification Center. Additionally, the phone also has an IR blaster and dual stereo speakers. Other notable things to mention here are an in-display fingerprint sensor, and Oppo's Trinity AI Engine and it is also confirmed that the device will come with Snapdragon Elite Gaming features.
Price And Availability
On Monday in a post on X (Twitter), Oppo declared that the launch of Oppo K13 5G in India will take place on April 21. It is confirmed to come in two colourways Icy Purple and Prism Black, and the pricing for which will be under Rs 20,000 in the country.
