Pixel Feature Drop For March 2024: Google is back with yet another 'Pixel Feature Drop' for its flagship lineup of devices. As a part of the March 2024 update, the company is introducing improvements to Call Screen, expanding health features for the Pixel Watch and more. The company noted that the new enhancements have started rolling out to users of eligible Pixel devices. From Pixel handset to wearable, here are all the tweaks you should know.

Improvements In Call Screen: Available only in the US for Pixel 6 and later devices in English, Call Screen can now "help get a call started when the caller is silent." A "hello" chip will appear if the user is unresponsive to calls. Users can tap this chip to ask users to speak. If a user cannot answer the screened call immediately, Google Assistant will ask the caller to wait.

HDR Photos and Videos On Instagram: Users can now share 10-bit HDR videos straight to Instagram Reels and upload Ultra HDR images on the photo-sharing app. The feature is supported on Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel Fold in select regions.

Circle To Search For Older Pixels: The tech giant announced that Circle To Search will be available on Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro soon.

Besides these, the company announced a host of features available on the Pixel Watch 2 for the Pixel Watch (1st Gen). Pace Training, Heart Zone Training, redesigned workouts UI and auto-start and auto-stop for workouts are among the new additions. Plus, the Fitbit Relax app for breathing exercises and Google Maps for public transit directions are also among the latest enhancements.

Moreover, the company also introduced app screen sharing to share only one app when "you cast, record or present in a video call". Plus, Google is introducing an enhancement to quickly pair devices previously paired with a Google account in the Connected Devices settings. These enhancements are available for Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 5a (5G) and later phones. Google also announced Google Docs markups for handwritten annotations using a finger or stylus.
