"While these conversations were private, one important topic was the power of technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), to help improve the lives of Indians," Microsoft shared with news agency IANS in a statement.
India is a hub for the most vibrant startups and a dynamic developer community in the world. "Microsoft remains deeply committed to the growth of Indian technology — that will impact both India and markets across the globe," the tech giant added.
Nadella, during his visit to India in January, iterated that the programmes launched around the digital vision of the PM are creating wonderful digital public goods that act as important contributions to the world. He applauded India Slack for its innovative approach.
India Slack, according to the company's website, is a bunch of "open application programming interfaces (APIs) and digital public goods that aims to unlock the economic primitives of identity, data, and payments at population scale." Unlike the name, the company has a global vision.
"The magic of India Stack is unlike anything that I have seen anywhere in the world, which is perhaps the greatest contribution that India can make to the world," Nadella stated. He also tweeted: "We're looking forward to helping India realise the Digital India vision and be a light for the world".
Among the top buzzing words in today's time in the technological landscape is artificial intelligence. The reason can be partly attributed to the rise of ChatGPT, an AI model that delivers conversational-style responses, that debuted worldwide. The invention sparked a race among the big tech companies to integrate the evolving technology into its products and systems.
