POCO, a popular Chinese manufacturer which is constantly working on the technology to introduce more versatile phones for the global market has now announced that it would be launching the POCO F5, and POCO F5 Pro for the global markets. Not only these, but a few renders of the smartphones have also already surfaced online.

Taking to Twitter, the company’s official social media handle has announced that the company would be holding an online event on May 9. The company also posted a video which has revealed the rear side along with the rear camera unit of the smartphone. However, as per Twitter posts, the company would be introducing the Poco F5 in the Indian market.

POCO F5 Specifications: (Expected)

POCO’s new upcoming F5 is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 8 GB or 12 GB RAM options. It is also speculated that the smartphone would be getting up to 256 GB of storage. Additionally, the smartphone is expected to feature a triple camera setup. The report also suggests that the smartphone could be introduced as the rebranded version of Redmi Note 12 Turbo, a popular smartphone available in China.

The smartphone would be a successor of POCO F4 which was launched last year and will be unveiled on May 9 at 5:30 PM. Additionally, the POCO F5 Pro will also make its global debut. Similar to the younger sibling, it is also expected to get a triple camera setup and is expected to be more powerful and performance-oriented.

In terms of optics, the smartphone is rumoured to include a 64-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 2-megapixel sensor. A 16MP front-facing camera for selfies is also possible.

POCO F5 Price In India (Expected):

According to the tipsters and reports, the recently teased POCO F5 would be capped between Rs 28,000 and Rs 29,000 in India which means the company would be directly competing with the OnePlus Nord 3 which is also in the pipeline.
