POCO, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has launched the highly anticipated Poco F5 in India. As a result, the smartphone is the first to be powered by Qualcomm's recently introduced Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset. Furthermore, the company has emphasised the display by providing significant upgrades. The phone also has a triple camera setup on the back with a variety of features and modes for taking photos.

Poco F5 Specifications, And Features:

The all-new Poco F5 gets a massive 12-bit 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and a variable refresh rate panel of up to 120 Hz, The smartphone gets a peak brightness of 1000 nits along with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision playback support.

Under the hood, the Poco F5 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Plus gen 2 processor which comes paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage along with 7 GB virtual RAM, but the storage is not expandable. The smartphone is backed by a huge 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support and runs on the Android 13-based MIUI 14. The smartphone is offered with 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of security updates.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone gets a 64 MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation along with an 8 MP ultrawide camera lens and a 2 MP macro lens for sharper, crisper shots. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone is expected to get a 16 MP front camera. The Poco F5 can also shoot a 4K video at 30 fps.

In terms of connectivity, the Poco F5 gets Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, and QZSS.

Poco F5 Price In India:

Poco F5 is priced at Rs 29,999 for the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage trim while the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage would cost around Rs 33,999. The smartphone will be on open sale from May 16 and can be purchased through the official website and Flipkart. The smartphone is available in three colours- Electric Blue, Snowstorm White, and Carbon Black.
