POCO M6 5G Launched: Chinese smartphone maker POCO has launched the POCO M6 5G handset in India, which will be available for purchase on Flipkart. The launch comes after the release of the 8GB + 256GB model of the POCO M6 Pro 5G smartphone. The handset's younger sibling sits in the sub-Rs 10,000-14,000 bracket and offers value-packed specifications for the price. It ships with a premium "Sky Dance Design" on the back.

POCO M6 5G Specifications

The smartphone sports a 6.74-inch HD+ 90Hz screen protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It weighs 195g and is 8.19mm thick. Under the hood, the handset offers an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset. As for storage, the device has up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, which is expandable via the microSD card slot (up to 1TB). POCO also offers up to 8GB virtual RAM expansion using the software. It runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14.

The M6 5G offers a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging (10W charger in the box package). As for the optics, the device gets a 50MP AI primary lens and a secondary camera on the back. A 5MP front camera sits on the front for selfies. For security, the handset offers a side-mounted fingerprint reader. As for connectivity, the smartphone offers Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port and a headphone jack.

POCO M6 5G Price In India

The smartphone has a starting price of Rs 10,499 (4GB + 128GB). M6 5G's 6GB + 128GB model starts from Rs 11,499, and the 8GB + 256GB variant will be available for Rs 13,499. According to POCO, after availing of bank offers, the base variant becomes the "most affordable 5G smartphone" in India.

Buyers can avail up to Rs 1,000 off via bank offers on Flipkart. Airtel prepaid customers buying the smartphone can avail additional 50GB of data. It comes in two colour options: Orion Blue and Galactic Black. The first sale of the handset will go live on December 26.
