PS5 Pro Leaks: While reports hint that Sony could announce its PS5 Pro later this year, details continue to pop up with each passing day. After performance specifications, Insider Gaming claims to have accessed the requirements needed to let games enjoy the 'PS5 Pro Enhanced' label, which is internally named 'Trinity Enhanced'.

For the unaware, the 'Enhanced' label debuted after the release of PlayStation 4 Pro. The games having the labels utilise the Pro console's enhanced hardware, which can improve frames per second (fps) and resolution. The exclusive graphics mode may combine PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) to upscale output to 4K, deliver stable 60 fps and increase (or add) ray tracing.

It could be feasible due to the faster RAM and GPU, which could offer a boost of 28 per cent and 45 per cent in performance. The Pro may offer double rendering speeds compared to the standard model. Games may receive the 'Enhanced' title if they support increased target resolution, more maximum resolution for games running at variable resolution (on the standard model), more target fps and PS5 Pro ray-tracing effects.

Meanwhile, users should not expect GTA 6 to run at 60fps on the Pro iteration of the PS5. Reports in the past claim the model could launch in 2024. As per an earlier report from the publication, the company could target a holiday release. Beyond improved 4K performance, it may get a new 8k 'performance mode'.

The console could get a rendering boost of 45 per cent compared to the PS5, 33.5 teraflops, a custom machine learning system and an AI Accelerator. The PSSR, which may help in ML-based picture upscaling, could be similar to Nvidia's DLSS and AMD's FSR. Lastly, it may get up to 4x accelerated ray-tracing. You can read more on this here.
