Sony PlayStation 5 Pro, also known as PS5 Pro, has been one of the buzzing topics in the gaming time and has been pending for a long time. As per the reports, the PS 5 Pro will make its debut in September 2024 and will follow the mid-cycle hardware refresh just like the PlayStation 4. The gaming console has already become a subject to leak and the specifications are already out.

Sony PlayStation 5 Pro Specifications (Expected):

A report citing an individual who leaked the PS 5 Pro specs on the ResetEra forums said that the new system would make use of a brand-new GPU known as Viola. It will be built on top of TSMC's 4NP process node, with 30WGPs at maximum power, an AMD RDNA3 architecture, and a 2GHz frequency target.

The AMD Zen 2 architecture, which has a max frequency of 4.4 GHz, may still be used in the PS5 Pro CPU. It will be built on three important technological components: upscaling, enhanced ray tracing, and quick storage. Users will receive 16GB DDR6 memory with 576GB/s bandwidth, according to the report.

The user further claims that Sony’s main priority is to offer a stable 4K output with more than 30fps for the PS 5 Pro trim. He also claims that the console will debut in September 2024, two months before the rumoured timeline of November 2024 timeline.

Please keep in mind that these are simply rumours, and the company has not verified any updates about the PlayStation 5 Pro at the time of writing.
