Sony PS5 Slim, which made its India debut a few weeks back has already grabbed the eyeballs. The new gaming console comes with a lighter weight and even better performance is now more affordable. This comes after Sony announced that the PlayStation 5 Slim price will be Rs 49,990 on Amazon, Blinkit, Croma, Flipkart, Reliance, Sony Center, Vijay Sales and other participating retailers.
The PS5 Slim with SKU codes CFI-2008A01 & CFI -2008B01 will be available at discounted rates from May 1 and will last till May 14 or till the stocks last. For those unaware, the PS 5 Slim price was Rs 54,990 and this is the first-ever discount offered by a Japanese tech giant. With this Rs 5,000, the PS5 Slim becomes a more worthy option.
PS5 Slim is available in two variants: disc and disc-less. The PlayStation 5 Slim is 30% smaller and 25% lighter than its normal counterparts. It now has 1 TB of storage, with the ability to extend via external SSD.
There are now four cover panels with slits and it also comes with two panels. With the PS5, it now has a shiny appearance. In addition, the standard USB Type-A and USB Type-C connectors on the PS 5 Slim have been replaced with two USB Type-C ports.
In addition, Sony is anticipated to release the PS5 professional version before the end of this year. According to reports, the company is producing the most potent gaming gadget under the name, featuring ray tracing capabilities and a constant 4K HDR gaming experience.
