New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme has launched its latest smartphone Realme 5i. Ahead of its India launch on January 9 (Thursday), the smartphone first gone official on Monday in Vietnam. The device is available for purchase through online partners of the company. Realme 5i has been launched at Rs 3,690,000 VND (USD 160 or Rs 11,447). Realme 5i is currently available in Green and Blue shades.

Specifications:

Realme 5i has a 6.52-inch screen with IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 display with 720*1600 pixels and HD+ resolution. The device comes with octa-core processor and snapdragon 665 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM. Its highest model features 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256 GB. The device is based on Android 9 Pie OS on ColorOS 6.1 UI.

Among camera features, the devices has 8 MP selfie shooter while its rear portion has quad camera: 12 MP primary sensor, 8 MP ultrawide lens, 2 MP macro lens and 2 MP sensor depth. The smartphone has 5,000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. Other features include 4G VoLTE, dual SIM, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, MicroUSB, 3.5 mm audio jack with fingerprint scanner. In terms of appearance, realme 5i resembles its previous model Realme 5 that was launched in 2019.

The cost of 3GB RAM device is 3,690,000 VND or Rs 11,447 while 4GB model is 4,290,000 VND or Rs 13,310.5. Flipkart has already listed the Realme 5i on its website, confirming that you can buy the smartphone online. 

In India, the device is expected to launch at around Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000.

The Realme 5 series include  Realme 5, Realme 5s and the Realme 5 Pro, Realme 5i will be added to this series.
