Realme is gearing up for one of its biggest launches of the year. The Realme GT 8 Pro will make its India debut on 20 November, and the company is planning an online event to reveal the full details. Here’s the thing — this phone is shaping up to be a serious flagship contender. Early hints point to a large, bright display, strong everyday performance, fast charging and a battery that should easily last a full day. But the real attention-grabber is the camera setup, which brings Ricoh’s GR imaging tech to a smartphone for the first time. That alone has people watching closely. If you're waiting for a high-end device with a fresh camera identity, this one might be worth it.

Realme GT 8 Pro specifications (expected)

Realme GT 8 Pro will feature a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate, offering DCI-P3 and sRGB range coverage, along with peak brightness reaching up to an impressive 7,000 nits.

Realme's handset will likely use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, offering 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS storage. There has also been talk that its battery could feature 120W fast wired charging capabilities.

The camera system could be the catalyst of change: Ricoh-tuned 50MP GR main camera equipped with OIS and 22mm focal length; 50MP ultra-wide lens capable of 120x digital zoom; 200MP telephoto lens capable of 120x digital zoom; 32MP selfie camera on front.

Realme GT 8 Pro launch date and price in India

Realme will reveal everything on November 20, with sales likely to start soon after through Realme’s website, major e-commerce platforms and select offline stores. Early reports suggest a starting price of around Rs 65,000 in India, putting it squarely in premium flagship territory — but still competitive given the hardware Realme is aiming to pack in.

If the rumours hold up, the GT 8 Pro could be one of the most interesting Android flagships to close out the year.
