Realme GT 8 Pro India Launch and Availability
The Realme GT 8 Pro is set to be announced on November 20, but sales will most likely start well ahead of the month's end. It will go on sale via Flipkart, Realme's official e-store, and select offline partners.
Display and Performance
The GT 8 Pro will reportedly boast a 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 7,000 nits – the latter of which is one of the highest ever on a smartphone.
Under the hood, the phone will pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for blazing-fast performance. The smartphone is also expected to include a 7,000 sq. mm vapour chamber cooling system to efficiently manage thermals during aggressive gaming or heavy multitasking.
Camera and Battery
Realme has teamed up with Ricoh GR for the camera system, indicating a strong focus on imaging. It may sport a triple camera unit – a 50MP wide-angle lens with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. There is a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Powering all this hardware is a 7,000mAh battery paired with 120W wired charging, promising a full day's power in a fraction of the time it takes to charge. The GT 8 Pro might also boast IP68, IP66, and IP69 certifications, granting it resistance against dust and water.
