Upcoming Phones In December 2023: November was a well-packed time for smartphone launches with a range of flagship and premium phones. The premium iQOO 12 series, OPPO Reno 11 Series, Honor 100 Series, and RedMagic 9 Pro were launched in China this month. India witnessed the debut of the value-packed Lava Blaze 2 5G among a range of other launches. And this is not all because Redmi is all set to introduce the Redmi K70 series in China tomorrow.

Moving to December, a wide range of smartphone launches are stacked up. From the entry-level Redmi 13C to the flagship iQOO 12 5G, India is in for a treat. Soon after the release of the OPPO Reno 11 series and Honor 100 series in China, the global launch of the devices could happen next month. Plus, launches of the Realme GT 5 Pro and OnePlus 12 5G are lined-up in China. Amid this fury of smartphones, here are some of the top expected launches you must know that may materialise in December.

OnePlus 12 5G

The smartphone manufacturer has confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will launch in China on December 5. According to tipster Max Jambor, the device may debut in India on January 23 and could cost more than the OnePlus 11 5G (likely in the sub-Rs 65,000 category).

The successor to the iQOO 11 is all set to launch in India on December 12. It will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and a 50 primary, 50MP ultrawide, and 64MP periscope lens on the rear. Already launched in China, the smartphone will be available for sale on Amazon and could sit in the above Rs 60,000 price range.

Realme GT 5 Pro

The premium device with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will launch in China on December 7. While no official word on an India debut is live at the time of filing, it may debut next year and sit in the Rs 50,000-60,000 price bracket.

Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G, 13 Pro 5G and 13 5G

The highly-anticipated mid-range series will likely launch in India next month or January 2024. These three models could be the successors to the Redmi Note 12 series. Already introduced in China, the series may start from Rs 15,000 (Note 13 5G), with the top-end steeping over Rs 30,000 (Note 13 Pro Plus) in India.

Also, Infinix will introduce the Smart 8 HD in India on December 8. Meanwhile, for a cursory look at January, the Vivo X100 series and Samsung Galaxy S24 series are among the top new year anticipations for 2024.
