Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro Rumours: Redmi, a Chinese smartphone maker, launched the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G in India in January 2024. The handset debuted with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset in the mid-range category. It seems the company is now gearing up to launch its successor in the coming months. In the latest series of leaks, a fresh rumour claims the Redmi Note 14 series could focus on design and cameras.

Redmi Note 14 Pro Specifications (Expected)

According to a report from Gizmochina, a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo claims the handset could launch with a sleek design and improved camera capabilities. The tipster suggests the device may sport a 1.5K AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate. Under the hood, the Note 14 Pro could get a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.

For context, the Note 13 Pro gets a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and an AMOLED 1.5K 120Hz screen. Plus, the upcoming smartphone could get an over 5,000mAh battery. However, readers should note that the company has not confirmed any of these details and these might change when the device launches.

Moreover, the report added that the tipster did not explicitly name the device as Note 14 Pro. However, considering the specs, the device is rumoured to be the 'Pro' handset from the Note 14 series lineup because the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus' successor will likely get an upgraded Dimensity chipset.

Redmi Note 14 Pro Price, Launch Date Expectations

Though Redmi has not shared any details about the launch of the lineup, we can expect the devices to debut in September 2024 in the company's homeland and head to India and other markets in early 2025, considering the company's previous track record with the Note 13 series. The 14 Pro could sit in the mid-range category (Rs 25,000-30,000).
