Omegle has finally shut down and the founder Leif K-Brooks has released the statement that the platform was struggling financially and with the regulations. The platform has officially shut down after 14 years of operations and allowed users to video chat with strangers. Now, after Omegle shut down its operations, here are the 5 best alternatives to which you can move.
1. ChatHub:
It is a similar video chatting website which does not require any signup and is free to use. It will let you join in a room wherein you can have a conversation with normal people. Not only that, you can also be in the room where you can talk about specific topics.
2. CamSurf:
Yet another video chatting website that will not ask you for any sign-ups or logins to chat with random people. But if you don’t sign up, you will not be able to use several options including different filters. It also has an app for both Android and iOS.
3. Bazoocam:
Just like Omegle, you will have the option to meet different people in both videos and messages. Not only that, the users can also play games like Tetris and Tic Tac Toe with strangers. If you want to skip, the random strangers can tap on the Next button until you find the person to talk with.
4. ChatRandom:
Along with chatting with random people, the users can put filters including gender, country and more before initiating any conversations. It also gets a dedicated button which will let the users connect with girls. Users can also swipe right if they are not feeling the vibe and switch to another person.
5. Shagle:
Another popular choice which offers a more modern and friendly user interface for chatting. The users of this platform can also send and receive virtual gifts from the person you’re chatting with. It also allows the user to share images, audio, video and more which can be deleted if they are offensive.
