Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Could Arrive In Q3 2023, Just Before Z Fold 5, Flip 5 | Details Inside

SAMSUNG Galaxy S23 FE has been the blue-eyed smartphone for the rumour mill for a long time. And in the latest set of speculations, the phone could be just two to three months away from its official debut. A new prediction from a Twitter user tips the phone could debut before the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, which could launch in July 2023.

Tipster (@Tech_Reve), taking to the micro-blogging platform, shared the update citing "sluggish sales" of the premium S series. For context, the S23 lineup of phones launched in India in February. While the sales outlook was positive in the beginning, it witnessed a significant dip in May. Further, the leakster anticipates that the sales would fall by over 20 per cent compared to the last year's metric.

"Due to the sluggish sales of the S series, there are predictions that Samsung Electronics will release the 'Galaxy S23 FE' in certain regions before the launch of the new foldable phone. In this case, the Galaxy S23 FE is expected to be released around July or August," said Revegnus.

If these statements are to be believed, we could finally get to see the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone in the third quarter of this year. However, like the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, it is expected to be a toned-down offshoot of the S23 series.

Apart from the launch timeline, the Galaxy S23 FE has been subject to massive churning by the rumour mill. According to a 91Mobiles report, the phone could have an Exynos 2200 chip, 50MP primary + 12MP ultra-wide + 12MP telephoto lens. It might sport up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. As for the battery, rumours bank on a 4,500mAh battery that may support 25W charging as of now.

However, a reader must note Samsung has not confirmed these leaks. We do not have a concrete statement on whether the smartphone is in production or in the testing phase. Meanwhile, speaking of the current model, the Galaxy S21 FE sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ display, octa-core CPU, 4500mAh battery, 12MP + 12MP + 8MP rear camera and a 32MP front lens.
