Samsung has been on a launching spree, and we have seen the Korean smartphone maker come out with its flagship smartphones, the S25 series, in January at the Galaxy Unpacked event. There the smartphone maker also teased another variant that will join the S25 series lineup and will be the slimmest phone by Samsung by far, the Galaxy S25 Edge. At the event we only saw a few glimpses of it, and the company was mostly tight-lipped about its details. Showcased at the event in a shiny silverish-grey colour, the device captivated many fans and enthusiasts alike.
Now Samsung is just a few weeks away from the expected launch of this slim S25 series smartphone, Galaxy S25 Edge, and through leaks and rumours we already know a lot about it, no matter how much the company tried to hide it. I guess you can't escape the internet. With that said, there is a full leak of the smartphone's details that has surfaced on the internet.
Courtesy of WinFuture, which has obtained a full specs sheet and images of the supposed Galaxy S25 Edge, it gives out every major detail about the smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Leaked Specs
As we have seen in leaks and rumours before, the thinness of the S25 Edge stands at 5.85mm, but it seems that the body is using some new material this time. The display is shielded by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 instead of the Gorilla Armour 2, which is there on the Galaxy S25 Ultra; on the rear panel it is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The display is 6.7 inches with a 1440p resolution. The device sports the following colourways: Titanium Silver, Titanium Icy Blue, and Titanium Jet Black.

The powerhouse running the Galaxy S25 Edge is the Snapdragon 6 Elite, which was expected, and it comes paired with 12GB RAM with 256GB and 512GB storage options.
But I guess the battery here was a massive downgrade, as the thinness and size of it might have prompted the company to go for a smaller battery. It currently stands at 3,900 mAh, which is 1,000 mAh less than the S25+ variant, which is an effective drop of at least 20%. This has made it lighter, and the device weighs 163g.
We already shared a rumour with you yesterday which gave out the supposed camera details of the device, and this leak confirms that the S25 Edge will come with a 200 MP main sensor like the one in the S25 Ultra and a 12 MP ultra-wide shooter. On the front also there is a 12MP lens.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim?
There’s been some buzz suggesting that Samsung might be switching back to the “Galaxy S25 Slim” name for the device, sparked by a possible slip on the company’s website. But realistically, that seems pretty unlikely. Samsung has already made the branding official, used it in public multiple times, and even referred to the device as “Edge” during its most recent earnings call just days ago. Plus, numerous leaks have consistently pointed to the “Edge” branding. So, chances are—almost certainly, in fact—that the “Slim” mention was simply an error on Samsung’s end.
