Samsung has launched the Galaxy S25 FE as the latest addition to its successful Fan Edition (FE) series recently. Although the global release occurred a few weeks ago, India pricing was kept under wraps — until now.

Based on a post by tipster Yogesh Brar on X (formerly Twitter), the Galaxy S25 FE is said to launch in India at a beginning price of ₹59,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version. This is in line with the Galaxy S24 FE's launch price, which launched in India last September 2024.

For comparison, the Galaxy S24 FE also started at ₹59,999 for the base, with the 8GB + 256GB variant selling for ₹65,999. It went on sale officially on October 3, 2024, and came in blue, graphite, and mint colours.

Internationally, the Galaxy S25 FE was launched on September 4 and is available in Icy Blue, Jet Black, Navy, and White. The international price begins from $650 (~₹58,000) for the 128GB model and goes up to $710 (~₹63,000) for the 256GB model.

Galaxy S25 FE: Key Specifications

The Galaxy S25 FE is a 5G smartphone that comes with Android 16 and One UI 8 on top. It has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a silky-smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 1,900 nits of peak brightness. Vision Booster technology and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection are also part of the screen.

Under the hood, it's driven by the Exynos 2400 SoC and accompanied by 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage (UFS 4.0).

Cameras-wise:

  • Rear configuration: 50MP wide-angle + 8MP telephoto + 12MP ultrawide
  • Front-facing camera: 12MP selfie camera
  • Video: Records up to 8K video at 30 fps

The device is powered by a 4,900mAh battery, with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging support. Samsung also makes a 10% larger vapour chamber cooling system claim than the last model, which should help improve thermal control when playing games or multitasking.

When it comes to durability, it comes with an IP68 rating against dust and water, is only 7.4mm thick, and weighs around 190g.
