Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has already received a lot of attention from the global markets, but not in China. The Chinese market has already seen a number of new smartphones that are thinner and lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Samsung is apparently bringing the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim, which may be restricted to the Chinese market. However, the specific name of the device remains unknown.

In the latest update, the smartphone is expected to launch with a Titanium frame which will make it much lighter and durable. This comes after a report from Korean media claimed that the tech giant may use titanium material to make the backplate, which usually supports the structure between the panel and hinge of the device. Samsung has used Carbon Fibre for the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

But if the tech giant goes with the Titanium backplate, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will miss out on the S Pen. However, the Titanium backplate will definitely enhance the looks, much like the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim Launch Timeline:

According to the reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim can launch in China and South Korea in October and December. Not only that but there are also possibilities that the tech giant will introduce the device in the US market. There are still doubts about the global launch as the price could be more than $2,000.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy users can use the Circle to Search feature to identify the music playing around them. The feature is currently available on devices with Google app version 15.32.37.28.
