Samsung has started releasing the stable One UI 8.0 (Android 16) update for Galaxy S24 series non-beta users in Korea. The update, which brings firmware version S928NKSU4CYI7 (S24 Ultra), S926NKSU9CYI7 (S24+), and S921NKSU9CYI7 (S24) becomes the first public release of One UI 8. Samsung is also rolling out the update to its 2024 premium foldables — Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, alongside S24 series, with several firmware in addition.
It’s the kind of rollout that paves a path for broader availability on a global scale, beginning days or even weeks later and certain to be centered around flagship devices.
