After the reported data leak, Samsung has officially stepped into the AI industry with its own language model called Samsung Gauss. The new model aims to enhance the work efficiency of the employees as well as the customer experience by doing tasks such as composing emails, summarising documents, translating content, and enabling smarter device control.
Samsung Gauss Code: What All Can Be Done With New AI Model
Samsung Gauss Code and code.i, a coding assistance designed specifically for internal software development, are the two main parts of Samsung Gauss. These tools, which allow tasks like code description and test case development through an interactive interface, are meant to help developers work more quickly and easily.
Furthermore, Samsung Gauss Image is a generative image model that can easily create and modify artistic images, including altering the style and improving the resolution of photographs with poor quality.
While Samsung Gauss is presently being used to increase worker productivity, the company intends to provide new user experiences in the near future by expanding its applicability to a range of items.
Samsung Gauss: What’s The Name?
The name "Samsung Gauss" acknowledges Carl Friedrich Gauss, the esteemed mathematician whose contributions to the theory of normal distribution established the foundation for AI and machine learning.
The President and CEO of Samsung Electronics Device Solutions Division, Kye Hyun Kyung, emphasised the growing significance of thorough research on the sustainability, safety, and reliability of AI as generative AI technology becomes more well-known for addressing a range of issues and opening up new avenues for solution discovery.
