Swiggy Down: Online food ordering service Swiggy's app faced a service disruption in parts of India, which stands restored now. According to Downdetector, an outage monitoring platform, most users faced issues with the platform's app. Other problems include issues while checking out, and a minor audience reported problems with the website. As per the platform, the graph peaked at about 08:30 PM with over 2,500 reports.

According to the outage map on Downdetector, the affected areas included Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Madurai and other regions. Swiggy has shared an official statement acknowledging the issue. "Hi there! We regret to inform you that we're experiencing a technical down-time. Fret not, we're working on fixing this and should be up and running soon," Swiggy Cares said.

According to the screengrab shared on X (formerly Twitter), the error message read: "Sorry! We are currently not delivering at your requested location. We will be back soon." Another screenshot read: "Something went wrong. Please click on Retry to reload your cart." A third message read: "We are fixing a temporary glitch. Sorry for the inconvenience." It seems the outage has completely been fixed and services are now back to normal. As of 09:50 PM, the outage dropped to under 50. Swiggy has also shared a response from its main X handle identical to the Swiggy Cares response.
