The Tecno Camon 50 series will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, as confirmed, but the device is already listed on the company's official website, giving us a glimpse into its design, specifications, color options, and other performance-related details like RAM and storage details. Sporting 6.78 MP AMOLED displays with a 144 Hz refresh rate, the devices will be coming in two models: the vanilla variant and the Tecno Camon 50 Pro.
Tecno Camon 50 Pro Specs and Features
Running on HiOS 16 based on Android 16, the device features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display (1208X2644 pixels) that can support up to a 144 Hz refresh rate. The silicon inside the hood is the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate, which is coupled with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Apart from that, the RAM is virtually expandable up to 16 GB as well.
In the camera department, the 50 Pro has a triple rear camera unit, with a 50 MP primary shooter with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and OIS; there is a 50 MP 3X telephoto lens and an 8 MP lens for ultra-wide. For selfies, the device comes with a 32 MP shooter.
The Tecno Camon 50 Pro covers all the basics when it comes to connectivity, with support for 4G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and OTG. It also comes packed with sensors, including ambient light, distance, electronic compass, geomagnetic, and A+G sensors, along with an infrared remote control.
For audio, the phone features dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, aiming to deliver a more immersive listening experience. Powering the device is a large 6,150 mAh battery paired with 45 W fast charging. In terms of size, the Camon 50 Pro measures 162.37 × 76.97 × 7.38 mm.

Similar to the high variant, this phone will also utilize the same HiOS 16 and the same MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor. In the camera department, this device comes with a dual camera setup with a 50 MP primary lens with OIS, coupled with an 8 MP ultrawide shooter with autofocus. For selfies there is a 32 MP camera on the front.
Connectivity options stay similar to the Tecno Camon 50 Pro model as well as the sensors. For the battery, the device has a 6,150mAh capacity cell and also comes with dual Dolby Atmos support. It also has 45W fast charging.
Pricing and Availability
The Tecno Camon 50 series has now appeared on the company’s official website, revealing its design, specifications, and pricing details. Both the Tecno Camon 50 Pro and the standard Camon 50 are currently available for pre-orders via Tecno’s Kenyan website.
According to the listing, the Camon 50 Pro is priced at KES 38,999 (roughly Rs. 27,000), while the Camon 50 is listed at KES 34,999 (around Rs. 24,000). These prices do not include VAT, and the sale is scheduled to begin on February 23.

The two smartphones are also listed on the e-commerce platform Price in Kenya, where the Camon 50 Pro carries a higher starting price of KES 44,000 (roughly Rs. 31,000). The standard Camon 50, meanwhile, is listed at KES 37,500 (around Rs. 26,000).
In terms of color options, the Camon 50 Pro is shown in Moonlight Black, Malachite Green, Nebula Titanium, Fir Green, Lavender Mist, and Ethereal Blue. The regular Camon 50 shares most of these shades, including Moonlight Black, Malachite Green, Nebula Titanium, Fir Green, and Lavender Mist, with Mint Cream being exclusive to the standard model.
