Tecno is getting ready to bring a new phone to its Pova lineup in India, and this time, it’s the Pova Curve 2 5G. The company has confirmed the launch date and given us a first look at the design, and it’s clear this one isn’t just a minor refresh over last year’s model.

The Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G will launch in India on February 13 at 12pm IST. A teaser shared by the brand on X shows the phone with a curved back panel that smoothly tapers toward the edges. The finish looks matte, and Tecno has once again added angular lines on the back, which should help the phone stand out visually.

One of the biggest changes is the camera design. The earlier Pova Curve 5G had a simple vertical layout, but the new model switches things up with a triangular, slightly off-beat camera island. Two cameras sit together in a horizontal pill-shaped cutout, while the third lens sits just below it. There’s also an LED flash placed next to the lower camera, along with Pova branding on the back.

Tecno has also confirmed that the phone will be available in three color options—black, silver, and violet. All three versions get a small accent area near the bottom of the back panel that appears semi-transparent, adding a subtle design touch without going overboard.

Specs are still under wraps, but early reports suggest the Pova Curve 2 5G could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor. It’s also expected to come with up to 12GB of RAM and run on Android 16. The phone has already popped up on the TUV certification website, where it was listed with a 7,750mAh battery, which hints that battery life could be one of its key highlights.

With the launch just around the corner, Tecno is likely to share more details very soon.
