Vivo T4R: Fresh off the launch of the iQOO Z10R, Vivo has introduced another addition to its T-series—the Vivo T4R. Positioned alongside the Vivo T4, T4x, and T4 Lite, the new T4R draws attention for looking and feeling a lot like the Z10R, both in terms of specs and design.

From the quad-curved AMOLED display to the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 5G chip and Sony’s 50MP rear camera, the two phones are strikingly similar. Still, Vivo is carving out its own space with different colour options, a slightly slower charging speed, and the claim of being India’s slimmest quad-curved AMOLED phone—the same boast iQOO made for the Z10R.

Vivo T4R Pricing and Availability in India

The T4R starts at ₹17,499 for the 8GB + 128GB model. If you want more storage, the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB versions are priced at ₹19,499 and ₹21,499, respectively. Sales kick off on August 5 through Flipkart, Vivo’s own e-store, and offline partner stores.

Early buyers can also grab a ₹2,000 instant discount via select bank offers or get the same amount as an exchange bonus. Vivo is offering a 6-month no-cost EMI plan as well.

Vivo T4R Specifications and Highlights

The phone features a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. At just 7.39 mm thick and weighing 183.5 g, Vivo is calling this one of the slimmest curved smartphones around. It comes in two new finishes—Arctic White and Twilight Blue—giving it a visual edge over the Z10R.

Inside, the T4R runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 5G processor and offers up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Vivo claims it’s the fastest Android phone you can buy under ₹20,000, thanks to an AnTuTu score of about 750,000. For thermal management during gaming or intensive tasks, there’s a large graphite cooling system.

The phone is also built to last, boasting IP68/69 water and dust resistance along with MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability.

Powering everything is a 5,700 mAh battery. While the iQOO Z10R offers 90W charging, the T4R settles for 44W fast charging. It does, however, include Vivo’s Bypass Charging feature to help reduce heat buildup during gaming sessions.

Software and Camera Features

On the software front, the T4R runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. Vivo is promising 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches. The phone also comes packed with several AI-driven features like AI Documents, Circle to Search, Note Assist, Screen Translation, and AI Transcript.

For photography, you get a 50MP Sony IMX882 rear camera with support for 4K video, paired with a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is a 32MP shooter, also capable of recording in 4K.

Overall, the Vivo T4R brings a lot to the table for its price—especially if you’re after a sleek design, reliable performance, and AI-driven software features. While it doesn’t outpace the iQOO Z10R in every category, it offers just enough differentiation to stand on its own.
