Vivo V29 series, one of the highly anticipated smartphones, which will sit above the recently introduced Vivo V29e smartphone, will be launching on October 4. However it is not completely confirmed as the teaser said ‘Coming Soon’ and at the bottom left side said ‘Stay Tuned, We Will Meet On October 4’. It can be taken as a hint that the smartphone series will be launching early next month.
Not only that, but the company has also teased the design, colours, camera details and more on the microsite on Flipkart. However, the rumour mill has also suggested almost all the key specifications. Here’s what we know so far.
Vivo V29, V29 Pro Specifications:
The Vivo V29 is expected to come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution. It is likely to get a 120 Hz refresh rate and will also support HDR10+ playback support. Under the hood, the smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC just like its global variant. Vivo V29 may come with up to 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB storage, and both the models are said to run on Android 13-based skin. The vanilla trim is said to be backed by a 4,600 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, and the top model is expected to be powered by a bigger 5,000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging.

In terms of optics, the Vivo V29 Pro is claimed to have a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with several settings, such as night portraits and more. The Vivo V29 is believed to have a 50MP ISOCELL GN5 sensor as well as an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor. Both phones are expected to include a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone is believed to have a 50 MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Vivo V29, V29 Pro Price:
Both smartphones are expected to come under the Rs 40k segment. However, the company has not confirmed anything at the time of writing the article.
