Vivo Y19 5G Launched: Vivo has officially introduced the Y19 5G in India, expanding its budget smartphone lineup. The new handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and comes with LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage. It features a 6.74-inch display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 70% NTSC colour coverage. Designed to withstand daily wear, the phone comes with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
Pricing and Availability
The Vivo Y19 5G is available in three configurations. The 4GB + 64GB model is priced at Rs 10,499, while the 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB variants cost Rs 11,499 and Rs 12,999, respectively. It comes in two colour options: Majestic Green and Titanium Silver.

The device is available for purchase via Flipkart, Vivo’s official online store, and various offline retail partners. Buyers opting for the 6GB variant can also benefit from a three-month no-cost EMI plan with zero down payment, as per Vivo’s promotional offer.
Display and Software
Out of the box, the Y19 5G runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. The phone’s 6.74-inch HD+ LCD panel offers a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, supports a 90 Hz refresh rate, and reaches a peak brightness of 700 nits. With a pixel density of 264 ppi, the screen also has TÜV Rheinland certification to help reduce blue light exposure.
Camera Features
On the back, the phone includes a dual-camera setup consisting of a 13 MP primary lens (f/2.2) and a 0.08 MP secondary sensor (f/3.0). For selfies and video calls, there’s a 5 MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
Vivo has enhanced the camera with several AI-based tools:
-AI Erase lets users remove background distractions.
-AI Photo Enhance sharpens and improves overall image quality.
-AI Documents helps scan handwritten notes and receipts.
-Additional shooting modes include Night, Portrait, and Pro Mode.
Performance and Storage
The phone runs on a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, featuring two performance cores at 2.4 GHz and six power-efficient cores at 2.0 GHz. It supports up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.
Connectivity and Battery
Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 2.0, OTG, GPS, and NFC. The phone also includes essential sensors like an accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and e-compass. Security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
It houses a 5,500 mAh battery and supports 15 W wired charging. The phone weighs 199 grams and measures 167.3 x 76.95 x 8.19 mm. It carries an IP54 rating, providing resistance to dust and light water splashes.
