WhatsApp, an instant messaging application, has been in the news for rolling out new features for users across platforms. Soon after introducing WhatsApp Channels for users, the company regularly brings new enhancements to upscale user experience. In the latest move, the Meta-owned app is testing a feature to let admins share stickers in a channel, according to WABetaInfo.
As per the WhatsApp tracker, the option is rolling out in the beta version "2.23.24.19" on Android. It is available for some testers and will be released to more users in the future. Previously, the news outlet spotted the development of the enhancement in a previous beta build on the Android app. But it was not ready for a release back then.
According to the screengrab shared by the WhatsApp enthusiast, the admin can send stickers to their channel. While it is available to limited testers, you can update the beta build to the latest version and check if the functionality is live in your build. To use the feature, head to the sticker tab (if visible) within the keyboard.

The option to send stickers in animated form is also available in the update. It will help boost the dynamic appeal of chats. With the feature, channel admins will get an additional means to share their thoughts apart from the text for content diversification. Plus, they can serve as an entertaining means of expression with a distinctive visual appeal.
